Tina’s experience and education, including a background in journalism and marketing coupled with an advanced degree in nutrition science, provides the foundation and perspectives necessary to power www.voiceofreason.net, her blog that aims to simplify complex issues and provide context for nutrition and health news of the day. Her site attracts individuals from around the globe who log on to read her crystal clear perspectives about food issues, healthy eating, cooking and nutrition.
Tina began her career at the prestigious University Hospitals of Cleveland. She has been widely published in both the trade and consumer press including magazines such as Elegant Bride, Men’s Health and First for Women. She has given numerous interviews about the subjects of food and health and also served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Chicago. In addition, she is an active member of the American Dietetic Association, the American Marketing Association and the International Association of Culinary Professionals.
A native New Yorker, Tina received her B.S. with honors from N.Y.U. and her M.S. and R.D. from Case Western Reserve University. She resides in both New York and Florida where she maintains her black belt in Tae Kwon Do and rides her bike to stay in shape. She is training for her first 100-mile bicycle ride next spring.
